1. Acceptance
These Terms govern use of the quebragalho.dev service ("service"), which comprises the website, the web dashboard, and the gateway API. By creating an account or using any part of the service, you state that you have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What the service is
quebragalho.dev is an intermediary: it receives requests compatible with the chat completions API, forwards them to the language-model provider configured for the requested model, and returns that provider's response. The service does not produce the generated content, does not review it, and does not guarantee its accuracy.
3. Account
- You must be 18 or older and provide truthful information at sign-up.
- Sign-up is done through "Sign in with Google". Accounts created with email and password before this version continue to work as usual.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out on your account.
- Report any unauthorized use immediately through the contact email.
4. API keys
Keys issued in the dashboard are personal and non-transferable. They are shown only once, at issuance, and we store them only as a hash — they cannot be recovered later. Compromised keys must be revoked by you immediately in the dashboard. All usage originating from a key is attributed to the account that issued it.
5. Acceptable use
By using the service, you agree not to:
- violate applicable law or third-party rights;
- generate or distribute unlawful content, including child sexual abuse material, incitement to violence, hate speech, or fraud;
- attempt to bypass usage limits, quotas, authentication, or any technical controls of the service;
- resell, sublicense, or share access beyond what your plan allows;
- use the service to attack, overload, or degrade our infrastructure or that of third parties;
- violate the terms of use of the model providers to which your requests are forwarded.
In addition to these Terms, use of each model is subject to the corresponding provider's policies, and it is your responsibility to know them.
6. Content
Content you send to the service remains yours. You grant us only the technical authorization needed to transmit it to the destination provider and return the response.
We do not store prompts or responses. The request is forwarded and the response returned; we keep no copy of the content itself. What is recorded is billing and operations metadata — date, model, token counts, latency, and status — never the text. We do not use your content to train models.
What we cannot promise on behalf of the destination provider: your request is processed by a third party that has its own retention policy and may keep content for its own period, including for security review. The Privacy Policy says who that provider is.
You are responsible for having the rights to what you send and for assessing whether responses are suitable before using them. Language-model responses may contain factual errors.
7. Availability
The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, outages, and third-party provider failures outside our control may occur. Unless a specific written agreement says otherwise, there is no contracted service level (SLA).
8. Credits, prices, and billing
The service is prepaid: you top up credits via Pix and usage is deducted from the balance. There is no subscription, monthly fee, or lock-in. Without balance, requests are rejected — there is never a charge beyond what you have already deposited.
Each model's price is defined per 1 million input, output, and cache tokens, and is visible in the dashboard before use. Prices are authored in US dollars and converted to Brazilian reais at the exchange rate in effect at the time of each request; the rate used is recorded on the usage line, and the dashboard shows which one it was. That is why the real-denominated amount for the same model may change from one day to the next without a price increase.
Usage is measured by the tokens actually processed, as reported by the destination provider, and each request produces an auditable dashboard line with model, tokens, and the amount charged.
8.1 Withdrawal and refund
Under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code, you may withdraw from a top-up within 7 calendar days of payment and receive back the amount corresponding to the still-unspent balance of that top-up, with no need to give a reason. Ask through the contact email. The refund is made through the same payment method, to a Pix key owned by the same account.
After that period, unspent balance remains available for use and does not expire, but it is not redeemable for cash. Credits already used are not refundable. Nothing here removes a refund owed for a failure on our part — duplicate charges, improper debit, or unavailability that prevents use of the balance.
8.2 Promotional credits
Credits granted in a campaign, bonus, or courtesy are a benefit, not an amount paid: they may have their own term and conditions, stated in the campaign, and are not redeemable for cash nor included in the refund calculation in item 8.1. When there is a bonus, the dashboard shows the origin of each ledger entry.
8.3 Price changes
Price changes are announced at least 30 days in advance by email or a dashboard notice, and do not apply retroactively to usage already incurred. If you do not agree with the new price, you may request a refund of the unspent balance, without the time limit in item 8.1, up to 30 days after the change takes effect. The exchange-rate variation described in item 8 is not a price change.
8.4 Referral program
You can invite other people to Quebra-Galho through a referral link available in the dashboard. When a person creates an account from your link and makes their first paid top-up, you receive a promotional credit equal to a percentage of that top-up, capped at a maximum amount per referral and a maximum amount per month. The current percentages and limits appear on the "Referrals" page of the dashboard at the time of the invitation and apply to that invitation even if the program changes later.
The credit is held for 7 days from the referred person's top-up — the same withdrawal period as section 8.1 — and can then be redeemed in the dashboard. It is a promotional credit (section 8.2): it is for using the service, is not redeemable for cash, and is not transferable. Only paid top-ups count; bonuses, vouchers, and credits granted by the team do not generate a referral.
The referral is valid when the invitee uses the link in a browser that does not yet have an account and creates the account within 30 days, as the browser's cookies allow. Existing accounts cannot be referred, and no one may refer themselves. We may cancel referrals or credits not yet redeemed in the event of fraud, multiple accounts controlled by the same person, a refund of the referred person's top-up, or a violation of these Terms. We may pause or end the program at any time; invitations already made keep the rules in force at the time.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access, with notice whenever possible and immediately when there is a risk of harm, in case of a breach of these Terms, abusive use, a court order, or default. You may close your account at any time by requesting deletion through the contact email.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for lost profits, data loss, business interruption, or indirect damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability, in any case, is limited to the amount you actually paid to the service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that Brazilian consumer law makes non-waivable.
11. Intellectual property
The software, brand, website, and documentation of the service belong to their owners. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual-property right beyond the non-exclusive, revocable license needed to use the service.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. The last-updated date at the top indicates the version in force, and material changes will be communicated by email or a dashboard notice with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The court of the user's domicile is elected to settle disputes when consumer law applies; otherwise, the court of the judicial district of the service owner.
